Thank You

Thank You to everyone who sent me get well wishes and who left lovely comments, your kind thoughts really picked me up!

I'm all better now, except I have RSI from using the scallop punch!!! ROFL!!! Yes I have finally finished my Convention Swaps - I've made a grand total of 80 items - 60 cards and 20 clippies! Woo HOO!! I was hoping to do 100 but I'm satisfied with 80 so I'm stopping now! I'm not going to show them just yet - I'll kept them a surprise and post the photos when I get back.

I can hardly believe how much I have managed to make in the last couple of weeks. I've also made myself a card tin, notebook, clippy and bag tag especially for convention using the gorgeous Urban Garden papers. Here's some pics...

What do you think? I'm really happy with how they turned out. I looove those papers - the colours are so me! So if you see me with these at Convention please come and say Hi.
I've also done heaps of other cards lately - I've done two workshops and have two new team members - so I have heaps to share if I can find the time. I'll try to get back here before Convention...

Go Diego Go!

I'm amazed that time has flown by so fast, but my little babygirl just turned 4 - OMG!
Breanna is a HUGE Diego fan, so her birthday was all about Diego. Here's the card I made featuring said Animal Rescuer:

Here it is with the wrapping paper that inspired the card...My Husband thinks I have a problem with insisting that things co-ordinate - I don't know what he is talking about!...

I was very proud - she went for the card first and loved it!

And here is one of the gifts unwrapped - baby Jaguar of course!

And then there was the cake...she asked for a Diego rainforest adventure cake with a mountain and waterfall...this is what Rick and I came up with...pretty good I reckon...and it was a hit with all the kids - especially when they realised the rocks were chocolate!

Here's a close up of Diego and Baby Jaguar in the rescue Jeep!

And I even made some Baby Jaguar Cookies...

So all in all Breanna had a great 4th Birthday. I was still sick, but other than that it was wonderful. Urgh I really hate being sick...my little virus turned into a full blown URT Infection which is really not fun...so apart from getting through the Birthday and Easter I haven't been up to doing much...and with only 2 weeks until convention I better pull finger and make some swaps!!

What a Week!

What a week it's been! Wow, I need another holiday to get over it!! The new Caty was released, I got sick, Rick had his Birthday, had some work issues, and Breanna had her 4th Birthday Party!! HUGE!!

So needless to say there was not much time for creating or posting!

I thought I would just quickly show you the (quick and easy) card I made for Rick:

As usual I left making Rick's card to the last minute...I grabbed Seaworthy (Rick surf's so the surfer stamp was the first thing that came to mind). I also used Outlined for fun and Boho backgrounds. The colours are Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip. I did try one with the images coloured but preferred it like this!

Breanna's party went really well today, I think all the kids had a great time. Her actual Birthday is on good Friday, so sometime after that I'll post pictures of her cake and card.

Have a great week, kaz
