Sorry! But Better Late Than Never!

I know I've been a really super slack blogger. So sorry if you been checking regularly. Would you believe I just completely forgot to post!!! There's so much going on that I just forgot! I have been creating a little though. I recently sent of some cards for a sale-a-bration swap, I wont show you until I know they've got it, but I was quite happy with what evolved from no idea what I was going to do at all!

I will show you a few little note cards I made a few weeks ago. They are very simple (a bit boring) but they were my first attempt back at stamping after nearly 6 weeks of no rubber!! These use the cute little note cards and envelopes in the Summer Mini Catalogue. The colours are mostly inspired by the Loves Me DS papers and coordinating Flirty ribbons (also in the Summer Mini) and the stamps are all Sale-a-bration sets...

Its Sale-a-bration Time!

Its time for Stampin' Up!'s best promotion of the year! All you have to do is spend $100 during January or February and you get to pick one of the Sale-a-bration stamp sets for FREE! And it gets better - spend $200 and pick 2 free sets, or spend $300 and get 3 free sets plus one free hostess set and $30 free merchandise!! So for every $100 you spend you get a free set and there's no limit on the amount of free sets!
And the Sale-a-bration sets are just gorgeous, there's four to pick from - that's the hard part - I had to have them all!! You can see the sets in the Sale-a-bration catalogue on the SU! website or click here.

Contact me anytime by email to place an order and I'll have it shipped directly to you anywhere in Australia.

An Update on Me

I'm still here! Yes I know I've been a slack blogger!
We're still getting sorted in the new house and I'm getting used to being back at work - I forgot how much time that takes up! It doesn't help that its the kind of job where you cant just switch off when you get home. I've been bringing work home with me and spending some of my time off trying to get back up to speed (I've been out of the job for 2 1/2 years).
Anyway, hang in there I hope to get my act together soon. I know I wont be posting as much as I used to - unfortunately I wont be stamping as much as I used to, but I will post at least once a week. I did make a few cards last week and will get them photographed in the next couple of days to show you.
I haven't made any contacts for workshops yet, so if your in the Newcastle, Port Stephens or Hunter area and you'd like to host a workshop send me an email , I'd love to do one for you.

Happy New Year from Beautiful Port Stephens!

Hi Everyone! Happy New Year!
Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas.
Sorry its taken me so long to post...I totally underestimated how massive it was going to be to move interstate and start a new job at Christmas time! But we are here in beautiful Port Stephens now and loving it!

We had a good drive down from Katherine, checked out the Queensland outback, caught up with some friends and family, went to Australia Zoo and had a few days on the Gold Coast.

The biggest shock to the system for me was going back to work. I started a new job as OHS Advisor at Onesteel Waratah Steel Mill (the old Comsteel - which is where I worked before I had Breanna - but in a different job) only a couple of days after we got here (before we even moved into our house!). It's going to take some getting used to!

We moved into our house just before Christmas and have been madly unpacking and getting settled ever since. Its fantastic to be living in our own home again and having family around us. Unfortunately we had quite a bit of furniture damaged in the removal so my office is minus a desk and bookcase which is a pain, but otherwise its all unpacked now and I'm itching to start creating again soon!

As I haven't made anything since leaving Katherine I don't have anything new to show you, but I do have a couple of Christmas gifts I made before leaving. The first is a quick calendar I decorated for my Mum. It features the new Enchante DS papers (love them!) from the Summer Mini caty...

The next pictures are from a mini book I made for my Brother and his girlfriend of their trip to visit us in the NT last Aug/Sept. The book and papers are CM (thank you Lyn!) but I have done most of the titles with SU! stamps. If you'd like any more detail on products used please email me (kaznrik@bigpond.com). Here it is:
